Mari and I packed our rubber boots and went to Wadayama again to plant organic rice. Since last summer when we saw Kohei-kun on his farm, he’s gotten married to Sachi-san and moved into a country-style house he built himself. This year about fifteen of us helped plant rice sprouts and harvest potatoes. Like last year, when we weren’t working in the fields, we were eating, drinking and making new friends.
