Genmaicha (green tea with toasted brown rice) sprinkled on ice cream. Whenever I suggest it to people, they think I’m crazy, but the dry nutty crunchiness of the rice and the crisp, light bitterness of the tea leaves is a perfect complement to the smooth milky sweetness of ice cream. Try it!

mmmmm…looks delicious! will have to try it this evening!
Nice to see you again, Son of Soy!!! How’s Mari?
Ironically, the brevity of this recent entry makes it so much deeper. Even the background of the picture… how did you get a perfectly seamless backdrop?
Well Nicky, did it taste good? Or do I have “unique” taste?

Hey Carlo! Mari is doing fine, but been pretty busy lately.
Ah, the seamless background. That is the a back of a sheet of (used) glossy Epson printer paper bent up and taped to a Flash MX 2004 manual, sitting next to the window. Quite technically sophisticated. ; ) Actually, you can just barely see the diagonal “Epson” watermarks on the paper. I forgot to Photoshop them!
It sounds weird, looks interesting, I’m going to give a try.
I tried pickles and icecream once, so it should be alnog the same reasoning, which was pretty good btw.
Have You secretly moved Your site and not told anyone?
Pickles and ice cream? Now that’s creative, Zen. I think I’ll have to work up to that.
Azim, I’m still here, just waay off balance in the work / life thing. (balance tilting toward work and away from blog)
I’ll try to get the cherry blossoms out of the page design on this blog before winter comes…
