The black sesame bread at Cosecha, our tiny neighborhood bakery, is a great motivator for me to wake up in the Saturday morning cold for a walk down the street. Very close to Shisendo gardens and Enkoji temple yet hidden away on a sidestreet, it feels like a delicious secret. It’s a tiny place run by one woman and sometimes a helper. Service is always warm and bread always oishii.
