Last week: Hopped onto my bicycle (always an adventure), map in hand, to meet Mari at a new falafel shop around Hyakumanben. Afterwards to Kamo river, walking out onto the big stepping stones and and concrete turtles. Sitting in the middle of the river with Mari while the water rushed by, I took some snapshots of the sky for a CD cover I’m working on for [plug follows] “For Birds, Planes and Cello,” composed by Miya Masaoka and performed by Joan Jeanrenaud. Look out for it in the months to come.
